Welland House provides a safe and stable environment to encourage its residents to be as independent and active as possible. Two full shaft lifts have been fitted and throughout the home there is a professionally maintained fire alarm and nurse call system. We are regularly inspected by The Care Quality Commission.

Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and details are printed in a newsletter each month. Our activities coordinator organises activities including Scrabble, Exercise Classes, Quiz and Skittles, Sherry and Chat, Birthday Buffets, Lunch Parties, Outside Walks and Summer Outings.

Welland House has its own laundry department taking care of bedding, towels and personal clothing. Dry cleaning can also be arranged at an additional cost. Newspapers and magazines can be individually ordered and will be charged monthly to your account. Toiletries, personal items and stationary can also be
purchased within the home.
